Blackhawk Bloopers: My Visit to D.R. Horton’s New East Tucson Community

Sometimes, the road to great content takes a few... detours.

I visited D.R. Horton’s up-and-coming neighborhood in the Blackhawk development, located in east Tucson near I-10 between Craycroft and Wilmot. I had been told the model home would be open, so I came ready to film. But when I arrived, the door was locked. Thinking someone would be along soon, I used the time to get some exterior drone practice in.

I flew the drone all around the model home, zoomed in for cool architectural angles, drifted out for sweeping neighborhood shots of the developing lots, and even captured what I thought was a pretty sweet trail perspective.

And then… I discovered I never hit record.
After an hour in the sun flying cinematic maneuvers like I was shooting a mini documentary, not a single second of footage was saved. Lesson learned.

Despite the hiccup, here’s what you should know: D.R. Horton is now selling in this new Blackhawk community, and the area is brimming with potential. Homes here will offer the quality and value D.R. Horton is known for, in a location that’s close to everything yet still peaceful and wide open.

Interested in seeing what’s available—or making sure your visit includes an unlocked model?
Reach out, and I’ll help you get the real tour (minus the drone fail!).
